A mysterious Spice Box has been washed up and captured.
What is its story?
Full of Eastern promise its many drawers hold cinnamon, nutmeg and more, as well as tales of pillaging pirate ships and kidnappings. Stunning puppets tell of the daring voyage to bring back spices at a time when 'Spices were more valuable than gold'.

A riotous, site specific, interactive street based performance based on Tudor life and the spice trade. This one woman show surrounds a Lady’s Spice Box: an interactive box with wings and doors where puppets appear and pirate ships come to capture people off the beach in a world where spices are worth more than gold!.
|The Spice Box Works Best
Outside with a backdrop, preferably an ancient building. Works inside too in a small venue, marquee or theatre/art centre foyer.
We will need parking, somewhere to change, set up the box and that's all. We would love the space to be quiet but we are happy to compete with other shows near by. Show duration approx 40mins, 1-3 shows in a day.
Suitable for a family audience or children aged 3+. The Spice Box can reach 50 - 100 people standing and watching in the street and up to 100 seated in a small venue.
Post show Q + A available.
